My family
A family has a mother, father, brother, sister and grandparents. Our family loves us and takes care of us. Our father's father is our grandfather (dada) and father's mother is our grandmother (dadi). Our mother's father is nana and mother's mother is nani.
My home
A home is the place where we live. It keeps us safe from rain, heat and cold. Homes can be of many kinds, such as a house, a flat or a hut. A home has different rooms: a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room.
Neighbours and good habits
The people who live near our house are our neighbours. Talk to elders with respect. Say namaste when guests come. Keep your toys in their place and help with work at home.
